Today at RSE: Bourse fetches Rwf 47.4 million in turnover, declining from yesterday

The Rwanda stock Exchange market recorded a total of Rwf 47.4 million in turnover today from 92,800 Bralirwa and 20,100 Bank of Kigali (BK) shares traded in 6 deals. Compared to yesterday’s total turnover of Rwf 73.9 million, it was a decline as less shares of Bralirwa were traded today compared to 161,300 shares yesterday. BK, however, registered an increase in shares traded, from 4,300 shares traded yesterday. The Rwanda share index went down 0.67 points to close at 262.77 points today from 263.44 points yesterday. Bralirwa shares traded at between Rwf 450 and Rwf 459 and closed at Rwf 459 a share down by Rwf 1 compared to the yesterday’s closing price of Rwf 460. The BK counter on the other hand traded at between Rwf 280 and Rwf 285 and closed at Rwf 285 a share, a similar decline to Bralirwa compared to the yesterday’s closing price. Other counters Kenya Commercial Bank, Nation Media Group and Uchumi Supermarkets shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively.
